Golden Joysticks 2011 Roundup: Portal 2 Takes The Ultimate Crown

A record busting 2.06 million votes were cast by members of the public in this year's GamesMaster Golden Joystick awards, which were held yesterday. Portal 2 was ushered in as Ultimate Game of the Year, with Black Ops, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Minecraft scooping up awards as well. Unsurprisingly Skyrim took the gong for most anticipated title, although with a festive season and early 2012 absolutely stuffed with triple-A blockbusters and outstanding titles, that shortlist could well have been a mile long.
