Good way to quickly level up Archery in Skyrim?

borisisatwat |  Jan. 22, 2012 at 13:19

On level 20 and have been mainly using one handed weapons, but want to kinda switch to ranged now. Any tips for quick levelling?

In addition to the trainers mentioned by Steven, there's Aela - found in Whiterun. If you complete the Companion quest chain you can marry her in the Temple of Mara.
The advantage in being married to her is you then have access to her inventory - which means you can pay her for lessons and then take the cash back from her. Free lessons :D

Buy training - there are trainers in Riverwood and the Thieves Guild hideout. Activate the Thief Stone for a 20% experience bonus, and have a nice sleep for an additional 10% bonus for 8 in-game hours

This is a very good point. And thinking about it, it may actually be the Warrior Stone that levels up archery more quickly rather than the Thief Stone
