Grab EDF: Insect Armageddon's Two New Weapon Packs

What's that, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon fans? 300 customizable weapons isn't enough? You want more, you say? Well, we understand; and we want to help. So do developers Vicious Cycle Software, who have just now dumped not one, but two EDF: Insect Armageddon weapon packs onto Xbox LIVE and the Playstation Network. Hoo-rah!

First off, the EDF Armor Weapons Pack, which bundles 15 all new weapons to play around with, including the C9 Turnburl x Shotgun and Brux Fab Chowbrow Grenade Launcher. Furthermore, the Trooper and Tactical Armors have been upgraded, too, with the RLF -17 Floorboard Rocket Launcher and the VanSnaster SpreadBurst Assault Rifle respectively.

Next up, the EDF Jet Armor Weapons Pack. It, too, boasts 15 exclusive new weapons, such as the Plantain Ind. Torchee Sniper Rifle and Brewbreaux 08b-m Missile Launcher. And, again like the previous pack, it upgraded the Trooper and Tactical Armors with the El Gigante Rocket Launcher and the Wallagis 1776 L Missile Launcher.

They're both available for 240 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and for a similar price on the Playstation Network. If you do happen to get around to picking either pack up and when you've duly finishing blowing all alien insects up, do tell us what you thought; we'd be delighted to hear.
