So far, I'm a few hours into Rockstar's crime opus, LA Noire; and I'm absolutely loving it. Call it hyperbole, but I haven't been this impressed by not only tech, but its implementation, in a long, long time. The combat is awful, and visually its a decidedly mixed bag, but it's a bold and ambitious title well-deserving of a sequel to fill in the gaps. And speaking of gaps, Rockstar released a patch late last night for LA Noire to combat a few issues some gamers are facing.
Namely, it improves stat-tracking for the Rockstar Social Club and adds an age verification feature for future DLC releases. It also addresses a few key graphical and gameplay bugs plaguing the game, while fixing several key plot, objective and conversation issues. I've yet to encounter any major bugs in the game, other than an odd instance in the very first cutscene where the frame-dropped to single digits, but if you're currently afflicted I recommend downloading this patch pronto!
