Argos are offering some good deals on pre-order games at the moment. For £17.99 you can get your hands on the long awaited PSP addition of Gran Turismo. Despite the fact that this game has taken four years to get to market, it's now due to be released on October 1st. Designers had initially intended the release of GT to coincide with the launch of the PSP, but now the game will be released alongside PSP GO.
If you’re a big fan of car racing games you'll know that the Gran Turismo series is one of the best franchises out there. So if you’re interested in adding this to your collection, log onto Argos now. However do remember that you need to enter the code GAME20 to deduct 20% from the original price.
Exactly what to expect from Gran Turismo PSP is unclear. But the latest sequel does feature some 800 cars in total; including vintage classics, those built for speed to more quirky models which are just fun to drive. The player is also able to fully customize their model with a range of options (there are something like 4,500 shades of paint alone). Graphically the GT is also rumoured to be superb on the PSP, but where it falls short is in terms of the unrealistic AI, which does slightly undermine the gameplay. On Gamespot, they describe it as a decent enough addition to the Gran Turismo series, but overall, it will probably only really enthuse those dedicated GT fans.
