So Sayeth The Internet
It'll be a wee while before Rockstar decide its time for us mere mortals to lay eyes on Grand Theft Auto V. I recently read an interview with former Team Bondi boss Brendan McNamara, who worked with Rockstar on LA Noire before their fallout, and he revealed the team was looking to finish up work on Max Payne 3 before finalizing GTA V, which leads me to believe we'll be seeing the former before the latter. However, in the meantime here's some gossip to chew on. Ned Luke, a prolific television and animation actor, appears to be voicing the main character glimpsed in GTA V's reveal trailer.
You might not know Ned Luke by name, but regular TV watchers will recognize his face from the likes of Law & Order and All My Children. Not only that, if you stack a picture of Luke next to who we all believe is GTA V's lead - the middle-aged man casting a weary gaze across Los Santos from his lofty balcony perch - the resemblance is uncanny.
Not only that, but IMDB lists his most recently and ongoing work as the character Albert De Silva in, you guessed it, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V, whose status is 'filming'. Now IMDB isn't the most reliable of sites, but it has outed a fair few roles in the past, and we're inclined to believe this one. Not only that, Jimmy Taenaka posted on Twitter in excitable news, confirming Luke - a personal friend - as the "lead voice and profile" in GTA V.
It's all up in the air until official word comes from Rockstar. So cast your votes, Dealspwners. [IGTA5]
