After more than a year of delays and broken promises, Grand Theft Auto Online is finally set to receive its heists tomorrow. The update will bring a slew of new missions and content to all versions of the game -- with the exception of the delayed PC edition, naturally -- and finally add the sweet cooperative capers we've all been looking forward to.
However, plenty of new details have now hit the internet, both in terms of official announcements, leaks and hands-on time, from its file size to the new hardware and secret achievements. Here's everything you need to know!
1: The download is between 1.2-4.8 GB
Do you need to clear some space? Players have confirmed that the Heists Update weighs in at 1.2GB on Xbox 360 and 4.8GB on Xbox One (the disparity due to the increased quality of graphical assets, no doubt), so make sure you've got enough room.
2: Some players are in it now!
Lucky so-and-sos. GTA Online Heists officially launch tomorrow, but you might want to check now just in case!
3: There are new military vehicles
We'll have some serious new hardware to play about with in the Heists update! Behold: the Warstock, Boxville, Valkyrie chopper, Hydra VTOL jet, Heavy Insurgents 1 & 2, Mule, Hind (is it a HIND D?!!?! [shut up, Jon - Ed]) and Karin Technical.
Oh, and let's not forget the Aircraft carrier! This hulking naval vessel should make for one heck of a heist target.
4: Dress to impress with new gear
There are plenty of new customisation options in store regardless of your gender, from masks to outfits and gear. Credit and a massive thank-you to se7ensins.com and FantasyGamer!
5: In-game prices revealed
The GTA community has been tirelessly data mining each and every new update... and every once in a while they strike serious gold. Here are how much some of the new kit and gear will cost - have you got enough in the bank?
6: All the audio files have been leaked, including briefings [SPOILERS]
No, really. You can currently listen to all of the new audio files, including Lester's briefings, by way of a new leaked video, which will give you plenty of intel about what to expect on the missions.
Of course, these would also be massive spoilers, just so you know.
7: Here are the secret achievements! [SPOILERS]
Seriously though: spoilers. Tip of the cap to Xbox Achievements.
8: You can still get a bonus $1,000,000 by pre-ordering on PC
The PC version may have been delayed, but we reckon that it'll be worth waiting for as THE definitive version of GTA V. Mods, improved visuals and new social features should make it the version to own.
If you pre-order you'll get a bonus $1 million to spend in GTA Online, which is a nice little sweetener.
You can buy GTA V on PC for £29.99 - less if you use the Facebook voucher code via the widget at the top of the store page.
The festivities kick off tomorrow. Can't wait? Too late? Have your say in the comments!
