After more than a year of waiting, Grand Theft Auto Online will soon be receiving its long-awaited Heist missions, and a major new leak shows us what we'll be shooting, driving and using to complete our capers once Rockstar finally deliver the goods.
The leaks come courtesy of Funmw4 on Twitter, who's posted a selection of leaked GTA Online artwork that's been verified by active members of the community.
So there we see the images in-situ, so to speak. Let's take a closer look.
It looks like last-gen GTA V owners might be getting an extra sweetener, perhaps to thank them for their patience.
Here we see some of the new vehicles. They're fairly predictable, but should play a key role in some of the heists, whether for extraction or providing cover.
Naturally we'll need the tools for the job, starting with a hammer drill. It looks like we'll need to undertake some fairly serious 'remodelling' work to get at the prize.
Hardware doesn't just mean B&Q supplies, though. Here we see a range of new gear, including some weapons to help 'persuade' things along if heists don't go to plan, alongside some suggestive new items. Night vision goggles hint at missions set in dark environments (perhaps we'll cut the lights, or storm some subterranean vaults), laptops and remote mines suggest a more technical approach to some of the missions, while flare guns and fake IDs suggest we'll probably have to take some preparatory work first in order to get the equipment we need to pull off some of the bigger jobs.
Rockstar promises that the Heists will arrive before GTA V's PC version, which is dated for March 24th, and we'll keep you up to date with all the details. Are you excited or have you moved on? Sound off in the comments!
