Guild Wars 2: Flame And Frost - The Razing Will Forge An Unholy Alliance

ArenaNet have teased the third part of Guild Wars 2s Flame & Frost living story event, that will see two enemy factions teaming up in an attempt to bring Tyria to heel.

As explained in a new blog post, The Razing will bring players into pitched battle against The Molten Alliance: an unholy treaty between the traitourous Charr Flame Legion and the subterranean Dredge. These two factions have been making small incursions through portals in the Shiverpeaks and Diessa Plateau over the last couple of weeks, but now they're gearing up for full-scale war. The Molten Alliance will start to sweep across the area, burning entire villages as they go.

Naturally, it's up to us to stop them. Not only can we expect to team up in plenty of pitched combat and defence events (and net some new achievements, no doubt), but we'll also meet Braham the Norn and Rox the Charr, two new characters who will stop at nothing to "do what's right, no matter the risks."

Guild Wars II: Flame And Frost - The Razing will likely release later this month, since Gathering Storm patch launched on February 26th. We'll keep you up to date with the details.

Just in case you don't know, Guild Wars 2 is an utterly revolutionary MMO that delivers massive singleplayer value, cooperative funtimes, dynamic levelling and massively deep Guild and PvP funcitonality. Carl gave it a 9/10 in our extraordinarily detailed review, and I've become utterly obsessed with it over the last month. My Asura Guardian - Warmaster Byskk - is so ready for this. Come taste my hammer, Molten Alliance.

Any GW2 players in our community? Let us know what you're up to, or perhaps come hang out with Carl and myself on Desolation (Byskk and Harry McGarnagle respectively).
