Looks like today's the day for price drops on music games, this time I'm presenting you with a multi-platform deal to get your hands on a copy of Guitar Hero 5.
NB. Remember to use the following code to pick up the game at the reduced price: FTSL15-1
All you need to do is jump on over to Tesco Entertainment's website and part with either £14.45 or £17.00, depending on whether or not you've already taken advantage of their code or not. With the code you'll make a saving of exactly £12.50 on the next best price for the Xbox version, almost £7 on the Wii, and almost £8.50 on the PS3. Without the code you'll save almost £6 on the PS3, almost £10 on the 360, and almost £4.50 on the Wii. Be warned though, if you're planning on using the code you'll need to do so before the end of the month as that's when it expires.

As I seem to keep reiterating with music games, all you have to do is hit the notes as they descend down the screen or shout the words that come up on the screen down the microphone, and you'll get to choose whether to play as guitar, bass, drums, or lead vocals.
The set list includes track like 'Bleed American' by Jimmy Eat World, 'Bullet with Butterfly Wings' by the Smashing Pumpkins, and 'Ring of Fire' by Johnny Cash. There's also a pretty good selection of songs available as DLC with track packs from bands such as The Rolling Stones, Queens of the Stone Age, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
To be honest with you I'll probably wait until the price drops down a little bit lower before I rush out to grab a copy and it's probably only a good idea to get your hands on one if you're using the promotional code, because £17.00 is a little bit steep in my opinion.
