Guitar Hero World Tour (With Wireless Guitar) £20 instore @ HMV [PC Games]If you’ve decided to brave the big freeze and are heading into your local town centre, it’s well worth having a look in the nearest HMV to see if this Guitar Hero deal is on offer. Apparently, you can get hold of Guitar Hero World Tour for the PC and a wireless Guitar for a measly £20. This is a fantastic bargain given that you’re looking at £75 to purchase this package online. According to the HUKD post this deal has been spotted in Nottingham, Sheffield, and Blue Water, Kent, so it’s definitely worth poking your head in the door if you happen to be passing HMV anytime soon.

If you can get over the initial weirdness of playing Guitar Hero away from the comfort of your living room – unless that’s where you have your PC of course – then the PC experience isn’t all that different from WT’s console counterpart. The game features some 86 tracks including such classics as Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’, The Foo Fighters ‘Everlong’ and Ozzy Osbourne’s  ‘Crazy Train’, and on top of this, the game even gives you the opportunity to make your own beats with a music creation tool when you get bored of the tracks.

The best new addition for this sequel however, is the fact that you can now bring on additional players on mics and a drum kits. On the PC version, you can use any mic which has a USB adaptor, while the drum kit is the same as the one used on the PS3. The game is also compatible with the PC wireless guitar from Guitar Hero III. However, even if you have a pretty low grade, out dated PC, the publishers behind World Tour have specifically designed the game to work on practically any system. So if you love Guitar Hero and own a PC, this is one deal you should definitely look into.

Thanks to twodoctors from HUKD.
