The FTSL15-1 code stubbornly refuses to die. Personally I like to think that Tesco are just waiting for me to get round to using, and I might just break my consumer stoicism for this one.
After the email of (probably more than) one disgruntled Halo fan regarding the supermarket giant's obscenely high price tag it would appear that Tesco have sorted themselves out, dropping the price of the Halo Reach: Legendary Edition to £90.47. It's not quite the cheapest, ShopTo have that locked down at £89.85, but if, like me, you've yet to unleash the 15% power of the FTSL15-1 code you can knock the Tesco price down to £76.89, which is very attractive indeed.
NB. Remember to use the FTSL15-1 code to get it at this price. (The GAMES5OFF-1 code mentioned in the HUKD post didn't work unfortunately)
So, what do you get for your money? Well there's a big hand-painted model of Noble Team, some exclusive in-game armour, a game case styled around an ONI black box, a whole bunch of funky 'secret' documents and Dr Halsey's journal, a UNSC badge you can sew onto your favourite jacket andyou get everything bundled into a massive UNSC branded box.
Halo: Reach is almost certainly going to be good (how good remains to be seen), and you can check out our impressions of the multiplayer beta by clicking here. But you need to decide whether or not that hand painted model, badge, armour and bigger box warrant an extra £30. If not I suggest you go straight for the Normal or Limited Editions and don't look back.
