Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year folks! We hope you all had a fantastic night wherever you were, what ever you were doing. There are certainly a few queasy expressions and bleary eyes around here today. But the new year brings with it new opportunities as well as the odd hangover or two. We've made some serious ground in the last twelve months and we hope to continue to build on that for the next twelve too.

There are a few things we're going to be looking to bring to the table in 2011. First and foremost, you can expect to see a Dealspwn podcast popping up in the coming weeks, discussing weekly topics, new releases and enjoying a spot of witty (and probably not-so-witty banter) about the games we love and cherish...and sometimes those we deride.

2011 is also going to be the year of more. More reviews, more deals, more competitions and we'll be looking to cast our net wider, bringing you more events coverage, games previews and interviews.

There are a few ideas we've been kicking around in recent weeks too - from gaming nights with the Dealspwn staff and competitive, prize-worthy deathmatches to community articles and showcases, new awards and more regular platform roundups - and we'll be keeping you updated as the year goes on.

But we'd also like to hear what you think. We're nothing really without our readers, especially those who come and share their own opinions and thoughts. We'd love to hear what you'd like to see in 2011. We won't guarantee the implementation of these suggestions, but they'll certainly be taken on board.

Thanks again for a fantastic year, and may the next twelve months prove even better!

Team Dealspwn? Are we competing in the Olympics?

Almost certainly...it'll be in the next memo :)
