Puzzle game maniacs, particularly those with scientific leanings may like to get their hands on this physics based games collection.
Everything Play currently have the best price going, at under £6. £5.99 is not to be sniffed at for a Wii title, especially considering the next best offer will set you back an extra £4 at £9.99 from My Memory, it's just a bit of a shame that the game is really not that great.
The game is comprised of 100 puzzles which require the application of physics know-how to solve. The objective of each puzzle is the same—to press the red button—but in each level this aim must be tackled in a different way, utilising the items given in order to reach it. There are also some mediocre mini games which can be played with friends and 20 sandbox style levels which allow you to play around with the physics engine as you wish.
The physics mechanics are realistic and well implemented but the game still feels rather rough around the edges. Furthermore the puzzles are all rather samey and can begin to feel rather tedious after a while and the slightly awkward controls don't do anything to help matters.
Depending on your boredom threshold, you may find that there is enough here to make Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity worth its budget price tag but the chances are you could have a lot more fun with a couple of pints down the pub.
