Hitman 6 Concept Art Hits The Net
Square Enix Montreal are getting stuck into the next Hitman game, having appropriated some of IO Interactive's franchise veterans, and have revealed a couple of pieces of concept art Montreal International Game Summit. Amazingly, these two pieces were painted live at the summit by art director Rasmus Poulsen and senior concept artist Leonid Enyne.

IO Interactive recently suggested that Square Montreal's game will offer a "fresh perspective" on the series and characters, which certainly seems to be the case if these pics are anything to go by.

What they need to do is make it exactly like Hitman 2...

The game doesn't need a "fresh perspective" as such.

Hitman is about social stealth (something that Absolution fails to deliver on in part thanks to it's broken disguise mechanic which is unfortunately necessary in order for the "hunted" style levels to work).

The game is also at it's best when the levels play as a large sandbox and where the hits are self contained and require little backstory or explanation.

Ultimately the desire to make everything cinematic is hurting the actual gameplay element of games.
