Hitman Absolution: Deus Ex Human Revolution DLC Detailed

Square Enix look to be continuing their obsessive crossover DLC by geting Codename 47 all kitted up like Deus Ex: HR's Adam Jensen.

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC pack launches on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 today and features both a new look for our slaphead assassin and a new weapon. Here's the official blurb

Hitman: Absolution Deus Ex Suit

Dress Agent 47 in the iconic combat armor used by Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and get better protection from firearms with advanced armor.

Hitman: Absolution Deus Ex ’Zenith’ Gun

The Zenith pistol was the handgun of choice for Adam Jensen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution and can now be used by Agent 47 in Hitman: Absolution. The 10mm compact pistol can be equipped with a Steiner-Bisley silencer to make sure that Agent 47's missions can be completed like a Silent Assassin.

The ‘Deus Ex Suit’ and ‘Deus Ex Zenith Gun’ will cost 80 Microsoft Point/$1 each via Xbox LIVE and PSN/PC respectively. We can only hope that the logical conclusion of such crossovers will be an epic Kingdom Herts-esque mashup of all of Square' Western franchises.

On the other hand, that could end up being The Worst Thing Ever. Hmmm...

They're really milking their western IP aren't they? I guess it makes sense with Final Fantasy steadily going down hill. They're doing well with the publishing at the moment, not so good on the development side though.

They need to stop messing about and remake FF7. Maybe they'll remember what made the FF games good in the process.
