Hotel for Dogs is a good game for any whacky animal lovers out there. So if you have seen the film, thought it was fun, and would now like to get your hands on the game, good news. Game are offering Hotel for Dogs on the Nintendo Wii for £9.98 which is around £5 cheaper than the next best price.
But before you log on to order your copy, first let me share with you a bit about what to expect from Hotel for Dogs. When I say that you’re going to need to be a massive fan of the film I really mean it. And given that the film is absolutely dire, you’re going to have to be quite an original kind of nutter to go out and actually buy the game.
When it comes down to it, Hotel for Dogs is - in basically every sense - a complete and utter miserable failure. The story follows a group of friends and their attempts to transform a run down hotel into a lovely home for a load of stray dogs. So is it a virtual pet game? Well not exactly. Is it a sim? No because nothing is simulated and there’s no long term time scale.
So what it is it then? Good question and I have absolutely no idea. The game seems to consist of going round looking for items which can be used to build various gadgets, and to be quite honest there is absolutely no fun in this what so ever. If think I am harsh I am not alone as IGN gave Hotel for Dogs an embarrassing score of 3.5 and had nothing good to say about the game at all. So although the price is good be warned, the game is horrible!
