The Humble Voxatron Debut | Pay What You Want | PC Games

Something a little different this time around for Humble Bundle fans, with this new package introducing a totally new and seemingly-awesome voxel-based platform-shooter that comes with a fully featured map editor. I strongly urge you to hit play on the video above and check out Voxatron for yourselves. And then buy it...for what ever price you want!

There'll be twenty levels to begin with, which will see fending off the advances of aggressive creatures, slaying dragons and engaging in some platforming that takes full advantage of the levels' destructibility. However, there's a fully featured level designer, you'll be able to share your creations online  and, soon, developer Lexaloffle will be providing tools for enemy creation too. It is an alpha version of the game, but in purchasing it here you'll get every single update free.

As per usual, you can choose exactly how much you want to pay (the game is advertised as being worth $15), with the choice of splitting your expenditure amongst developers, supported charities EFF and Child's Play, and of course the good Humble Bundle team themselves.

We'll have some impressions of Voxatron to give you later this week. Get involved!

The Humble Bundle's starting to get a bit silly now. Is one game really a bundle? And is a game, still in alpha, really something to pay money for?
