Hydrophobia: Prophecy | £1.50 | Steam | PC

The daily deal from Steam offers up the improved version of the water-themed action title at a mere £1.50. It means that should you decide to give this one a go you’ll be saving yourself a massive £7.50 over the next best price over at Direct2Drive.

Having reviewed the original release on XBLA, I was happy to hear that many of my (and many other reviewers) criticisms were been addressed with this revamped edition. Niggling issues still found their way through though, but for a mere £1.50 it’s worth checking out the impressive water physics. Thanks to djbe @ HUKD!

This isn’t as cheap as the deal Steam ran late last month, but Direct2Drive’s offer for the re-release of Hydrophobia is still worth highlighting. It means you will save almost £5.50 over the usual price of admission, making it an ideal time to try it if you’ve been tempted in the past. Having reviewed the original release on XBLA, I was happy to hear that many of my (and many other reviewers) criticisms had been addressed with this revamped edition. It’s by no means perfect, but for under £4 it’s worth checking out the impressive water physics.
