Double Fine Doubles Up With New Campaign, Horde Modes
When they're not working on Sesame Street games, Double Fine have time for mechanized tower-defense games like
Trenched Iron Brigade. It was released this past June in the States, but a trademark issue led to a European delay, with the game only now nearing release. However, in that space of time, Double Fine have been working on a DLC pack, which will add an all new campaign and Horde-esque mode to Iron Brigade.
Double Fine broke the news to Kotaku, but wouldn't go so far as to reveal pricing or even a release date. However, we do know it'll pack an all new campaign for fans to tear through, and a mode in the vein of Horde which is sure to soak up even more hours worth of playtime over the coming months. It's been dubbed 'Rise of the Martian Bear', and shows all the hallmarks of a classic Schafer title.
We don't have much else for you, but if any of our American audience would like to fill us in on the delights or not so delightful parts of Iron Brigade, we'd love to hear from them. Do tell! [Kotaku]
