Iron Man 2 (with Exclusive Suitcase Suit Upgrade) £12.99 @ Play [PS3 Games]

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No you fool! It's Iron Man, who else other than Tony Stark would fly around in a ridiculously flamboyant red and gold metal suit, or crawl through the air because of the sheer weight of the small arsenal that's strapped to them like War Machine!

You can grab a copy of the game on the PS3 for £12.99 from Play, which'll make you a saving of almost £2 on the next best offer of £14.89 coming in from Sendit.

In addition to the game you'll also get the XF version of the Mark V suit, which'll be accessible right from the start of the game and has a number of useful features including compete flight capability, full shield strength, and full weapon strength. It also looks pretty cool as well, which is a bonus, and the cobalt blue and tungsten grey colour scheme's a bit stealthier than the standard Mark V suits instantly recognisable paint work.

This time around you'll get the choice of playing through as Iron Man or War Machine before the start of each mission, and whilst Tony's suit allows for greater manoeuvrability whilst flying around it doesn't really match the enjoyment you get from pummelling your enemies with firepower when you're cruising around as Rhodey.

I wanted this to be a worthy sequel that built on the original but sadly that's not the case. Flying, yes that's right flying, one of Iron Man's key abilities, which should have been the developer's main aim to get right, is pretty awful and quite frustrating at times. Also, there doesn't seem like much else for Tony or Rhodey to do other than fly around battling enemies, or landing to . . . well defeat more foes.

If you're a fan of the series and fancy taking a punt on the game, then £12.99 isn't that much to ask for, but you'll probably still be disappointed.
