The votes are in and it's Moebius - the pitch described as a "metaphysical sci-fi thriller in the vein of Fringe" - that has won the day in the bid to become the first game out of the door of Jane Jensen's new Pinkerton Road studio.
$180,964 of the $300k goal has been donated to the Pinkerton Road project thus far, with thirty-two days left on the clock.
Moebius draws some parallels too with Jensen's highly acclaimed Gabriel Knight series of adventure. Touted to be a third-person point-and-click adventure game, Moebius revolves around an antiquities dealer named Malachi Rector - a man with the ability to "sense the soul" of an artefact - hired by the enigmatic millionaire Amber Dexter to look into the rather suspicious death of a young woman in Venice.
Jensen last released PC/Xbox 360 adventure title Gray Matter back i n2011. You can read our Gray Matter review here. The Pinkerton Road Kickstarter page can be found here, and there are three concept snaps for Moebius below:
