Killzone 3 | £9.99 | Blockbuster | PS3

This deal is technically a blast from the past - but Blockbuster are still in stock and kicking ass as the cheapest Killzone 3 retailer around. £9.99 is a steal for this solid and visceral FPS, especially due to the addictive online modes.

If you missed out on the offer from Dixons a few weeks ago, you’ve got another chance of getting Killzone 3 for a tenner thanks to Blockbuster. With quite a few online retailers currently out of stock, it means there is a saving of a fiver to be had here over the next best alternative at Dixons.

The single player campaign may be a bit short and questionable in the plot department (although the set pieces and fights are fantastic), but the multiplayer is really where it’s at with its various modes and hectic action. You can check out Brendan’s review for the full scoop. Thanks to Syzable @ HUKD!

Killzone 3 | £9.99 | Dixons | PS3

If you have yet to take the fight to the Helgahst in the latest instalment of the Killzone franchise, the asking price of a tenner is definitely worth a look. The current offer from Dixons means you can save yourself a fiver over the next cheapest competitor over at The Hut.

Killzone 3 4

Killzone 3's single player campaign is jam packed with action and it all looks pretty amazing, which is a nice bonus! As you'll probably already know, it supports Playstation Move and the motion controls are good fun to get to grips with, so you can expect to flounder around your living room whilst you're trying to plough through some bad guys. The down sides are that it's a bit on the short side and there aren't any collectables, but both are minor blips really. Zavvi are parting with copies for £17.85, which is almost £2 cheaper than the next best offer coming in from Game Gears. Thanks to merb0786 @ HUKD.

Killzone 3 | £19.99 | GAME | PS3

I've yet to pick up Killzone 3 despite loving the beta, but with the Playstation Network down and my PS3 excelling as a superb dust-collector, I don't see myself purchasing it in the short term future, at least. However, when PSN is back up and running and I've run a cloth across the lacquered shell of that glorified blu-ray player, I might check in on Game's offer for Killzone 3. £19.99, saving you almost two quid on ShopTo's next best offer. Brendan has the scoop on the game, check out his review above.

Massive thanks to Kodoku for bringing this to our attention over at HUKD

Killzone 3 3

Grab this if you want an action packed thrill ride that's great to look at, although bear in mind the single player ride'll be a fairly short affair. You can grab a copy of Killzone 3 for £21.85 from ShopTo, which is over £4.50 cheaper than the next best offer coming in from Game Seek. It'd be a pretty big let down if a shooter game like this didn't have a multiplayer, and Killzone 3's is fast and furious. Also, this is game that really shows off Playstation Move's potential. Thanks to Kodoku @ HUKD.

killzone 3 deal banner

It’s barely been a month since this title was released, and here we are with a sub-£20 deal thanks to the price drop by ShopTo. It puts a £5 gap between them and the next cheapest deal at Gameplay, so it’s clear this is a cracking offer for what is a solid FPS sequel. The campaign may be a bit short and questionable in the plot department (although the set pieces and fights are fantastic), but the multiplayer is really where it’s at. While you can check out Brendan’s review for more details, be sure to hurry if you want Killzone 3 for this price because you never know how long this deal will stick around for. Thanks to striker33 @ HUKD!

Killzone 3 2

If you make a quick excursion over to Game or Gameplay you'll discover that they're parting with copies of Killzone 3 for almost £7 cheaper than the next best offer, which isn't bad for a game that came out almost a month ago. Although the campaign is a tad on the short side, it more than makes up for this by cramming in a ridiculous amount of action and some lovely visuals. Being the standard edition, the game itself is all you'll get, so if you're prepared to spend a little bit more for a load of extras you're probably better off grabbing the Helghast Edition. Thanks to diazepam @ HUKD.

Killzone 3

Amongst the barrage of 1-day-only deals Play have unleashed upon us is this gem of a saving; the latest Killzone going for £8 cheaper than the next lowest-priced alternative. If you consider it has barely been over a week since its release, this is a cracking offer for what is a solid FPS sequel. The campaign may be a bit short and questionable in the plot department (although the set pieces and fights are fantastic), but the multiplayer is really where it’s at. While you can check out Brendan’s review for more details, be sure to hurry if you want Killzone 3 for this price because you’ve got until midnight to do so. Thanks to lisawilcox @ HUKD!

Gran Turismo 5 | Killzone 3

If yesterday was a slow day for deals, then today has been something of a crawl. That said, there’s been some great deals to make up for the lack of content, and now that I’ve recovered from watching the madness of the trailer for We Dare Jon posted last night, I’d say it was time to show you the best three!

Killzone 3 | £32.99 | Game Gears | PS3

Deals-roundup-killzone_3

Considering this only came out today, Game Gears is onto a winner with this one. I’ve only had about an hour with Killzone 3 so far, but it’s loud, intense, and action packed (but mainly loud.) PS3 owners looking to take on the Helghast should head on over to the deal while the offer is this good.

Gran Turismo 5 | £27.99 | Bee.com | PS3

Deals-roundup-GT5

It’s taken a little while for the price to get below the £30 mark, but thanks to Bee.com GT5 is now reaching a wallet-friendly level. Now we’re past the hype of a several years wait it’s fair to say the game is a stunning driving simulator, and this deal is one you petrol-heads should definitely check out.

Medieval II: Total War | £2.49 | Green Man Gaming | PC

Deals-roundup-medieval_ii_total_war

Green Man Gaming have netted themselves a hat-trick this week with the Total War series, this being the third time in as many days that they’ve featured on the deals roundup. It’s with good reason though, as the series is top notch and the prices have been superb. Be sure to check it out before the deal expires at midnight!
