Kinect Reads Sign Language In R&D Tech Demo

Microsoft's R&D department still attempt to push boundaries (despite most of their accomplishments never becoming retail products), with a new tech demo showing off the latest from the skunkworks. Kinect is now fluent in sign language, able to transcribe gestures into American English and Chinese. Kinect 2.0 for PC requires an separate hardware model and SDK, both of which are slated to release next year.
