King Washington Gets His Tyranny On Next Month

The first instalment of The Tyranny of King Washington - the fat chunk of Assassin's Creed DLC that will play out an alternate history in which George Washington seizes control of America for himself - will arrive next month.

It will form the first of a trilogy of DLC episodes, individually available for 800 MSP or £9.99, or alternatively available through the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass for 2400 MSP or £23.99.

The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy will be available on PC and Xbox 360 February 19th, and on PS3 February 20th. You can read our Assassin's Creed III review here.

Didn't enjoy AC3 enought to warrant buying DLC. Never picked it up to complete side missions since finishing the main story. And thats the first AC which i haven't :(

Right there with you fella. As I said in the review, I felt it was too big, felt too rushed, and that they basically tried to stuff a trilogy's worth of story and features into one game. We're all for significant content packages here on Dealspwn, but there just seemed to be so much filler, and precious little open-ended assassination. Too bloated, too repetitive, and, frankly, too boring.

Also, Haytham would have been a much better central protagonist:

The first hour was so tedious! But AC2 was also slow starting, but that turned out to be arguably my fave game of last 5years. For me, it felt a step back towards AC1.

Agreed Haytham was pretty cool. Was some good bits in it and the main story to the series is always gripping and leaves you wanting more. I will get the next installment as i'm an AC nut! Just not sure if i want to run with Connor again! He just didn't drag you in like Ezio did.
