Klei Entertainment, the team that brought us claret-spilling, 2D action-fest Shank and its sequel, have announced a new game: Mark of the Ninja.
An Xbox LIVE exclusive, due for release this summer, Mark of the Ninja looks to be a stealthy, shadowy sidescroller with a number of platforming elements, covert violence and the ability to set all sorts of traps for your blissfully ignorant prey.
But don't take my word for it. Behind a smattering of old-school text adventuring, there' s an all-too-brief slie of gameplay footage, that you can find here.
With Microsoft Studios on publishing duties, it wouldn't be too unseemly to suggest that this might be an early shout for inclusion in this year's Summer of Arcade series.
