Hideo Kojima pretty much refused to discuss any new games during the Konami pre-E3 presentation, instead opting to reveal that Kojima Productions are working on a new, unannounced game and have been building a brand-new game engine from the ground up to support it.
Kojima is hoping that the new engine will become 'the best in the world', and it will support all three major platforms - extensive platform love being a theme of this particular part of the presentation.
The renowned developer explained that work on the new engine had begun after MSG4 wrapped, and was being developed alongside (but not for) Metal Gear Solid: Rising. Kojima suggested that Fox would make the development process between consoles far easier.
We'll do some digging around for more info next week. You can find our live blog of the Konami presentation here.
