Right at the end of the slightly underwhelming Konami pre-E3 show came an intriguing little tease for an old-school franchise. Just as we'd given up hope, in flew a fireball, dancing about until it drawn the Contra 'C'. 'They're coming' floated into view at the bottom of the screen. Not much, but enough to get us interested.

We last saw Contra in 2009, with the WiiWare title Contra ReBirth.
