While we've been jailing innocent house-husbands, clambering up drainpipes and spotting all the cast of TV's Mad Men, PC gamers have been left to watch Chinatown on repeat and hope, nay, pray LA Noire makes it to the desktop computer. Well, it appears Rockstar have finally wised up, having just announced that a PC version of their 1940s crime caper is in development at their Leeds studio!
The PC version of LA Noire is set to release this autumn, and Rockstar isn't merely slapping together a like-for-like port. LA will be realized in even greater graphical detail, as will its eclectic cast of stunningly realized characters. Rockstar is even including 3D support for players with the pre-requisite display and hardware.
LA Noire on the PC is set to be released in all good stores and online. Its console counterpart, which we pretty much adore, has already sold over four million copies worldwide. I don't think its much of a gamble to say it'll probably sell a few million more now! Have your say, Dealspwners! Especially those of you who prefer the PC to the console? Happy LA Noire has made it to your platform of choice? Or is it a matter of too little, too late? [Eurogamer]
