A leaked Battlefield 4 promotional poster from EB Games Australia suggests that DICE's Frostbite 3-powered shooter will release at the tail end of October, and Commander Mode is indeed slated for a comeback.
The promo, obtained by BF4Central, displays a 31st October release date front and centre. Interestingly, it's a Thursday (the day that games typically release in Australia), so we might presumably expect it to launch on November 1st over here.
The poster also reveals several interesting tidbits. A mention of the "brand new Commander Mode" adds more fuel to speculation that the popular BF2 mode will make a return to the series, while 'Drone Strike' DLC also seems to be in the offing. This DLC pack appears to be a Premium subscriber extra containing uniforms, skins and weapons.
It's important to note we can't vouch for this poster's veracity, and the lack of a Windows PC logo is rather odd to say the least (though it's likely that EB Games would aim to concentrate on consoles since an overwhelming number of PC copies will be bought digitally). It's definitely worth grabbing a pinch or two of salt, but we'll doubtlessly learn the truth of the matter over the next few weeks.
