Leaked PlayStation Now footage shows Killzone 3 streaming on PS3

Beta NDAs, like pie crusts and promises, are made to be broken. A US gamer has already posted footage of Sony's upcoming game streaming service, PlayStation Now, running on PlayStation 3. It looks pretty slick, barring the occasional downtime spent checking connection speeds.

Since the original video was removed and re-uploaded by a third party, I don't know how long it will stay online, so watch it while you can.

PlayStation Now promises to provide a streaming catalogue of PS3 games, with cloud saves, across multiple devices. It's an exciting venture that's packed with potential (and potential hiccups), though us Europeans will likely have to wait months for the merest sniff of a beta. You can read more about it in our in-depth coverage.

Have I missed something? Why would I want to Stream any PS3 games to my PS3?. PS3 Games -> PS4 makes some sense. (opens up a back catalogue of titles) If it's true streaming why not PS4 games to the PS3? (should be possible if video is streamed one way, and inputs sent back to the "master" ps4).

If it was a subscription service eg. pay monthly to access a large collection of games maybe people will?. But again, with PlayStation plus who would?

*edit. Doh it's early just saw the original image, clearly the plan is mass streaming of ps3 titles :(
