Leap Motion: Lotus Playthrough | SPIN MY FACE!

It's time for part two of our initial look at the Leap Motion controller and the out of the box experience that comes with it. Next up is Lotus -- which is basically a music-oriented tech demo with four "musical experiments", none of which make an enormous amount of sense.

But I get to punch a virtual head and spin the heads of singing cartoons, so that makes things a little better.

There are also dancing orchestral ribbons. Sh*t gets weird.

Check out our Leap Motion unboxing and initial test video here, and you can find the official site for the device here. It'll run you about £70, not including shipping.

I'm as confused as you. And I'm in the video.

I don't think LEAP are going to send you any more stuff with bizarre videos like these. Unless they are trying to confuse the world with their products. Perhaps have us so confused, in a confused conundrum scratching our heads at our computers while they sneak into every household that has one and steals all their money and valuable posessions?!

The initial trio of vids are really just playthroughs and reactions to the apps that are 'boxed'. There's a playthrough and full review of Blue Estate -- the much-touted FPS on the platform -- on its way.

But there are a few curio apps that I've found that I'll probably round up.

In between not seeing the sun due to FM14.

Totally read that as FML4. Which kinda works.
