Fans of Indiana Jones and the silly-but-with-serious-production-values Lego series, who for some reason don’t yet have the video that splices the two, might like to check out this deal.
Play and Amazon Jersey are both offering the game for £9.99 but the latter has a 2-3 waiting time for stock. In fact it’s pretty darn convenient that Play have the cheapest price because, with virtually every retailer completely sold out, it seems that Indy’s plastic incarnation is suddenly harder to get hold of than an eel that’s been wriggly around in fairy liquid on a bed of banana skins. In fact I could only find one other shop with the game to hand, Coolshop, who are asking an additional £8 on top of Play’s price.
The formula is largely unchanged from the original Star Wars outing for Lego and the control scheme is identical. Fittingly for the subject matter however, there is more adventuring this time around along with more puzzles to be solved. There’s also much of the same warm humour found in previous Lego games that really adds to Lego Indy’s appeal.
Lego Indiana Jones may not be the deepest or most memorable games but it genuinely offers that old cliché: fun for all the family. The bright Lego world makes it appealing to children while the gameplay is engaging and challenging enough to make it a worthwhile choice for a seasoned gamer. For a fun nostalgia trip you can even play with the whole family thanks to great co-op multiplayer option.

Just wish the Lego games had trophies! Completed Batman and Star Wars already, onto Indiana Jones 2 next which has trophies!
This price is far from a good deal – I got this and Kung Fu panda as a double pack for 12 quid about a year ago (infact it was December 2008 when I got my new xbox so longer than that)
So many people seem to have confused it for the new Lego Indy game. This is the original NOT the one which includes crystal skull and extended levels from the first 3 movies.
I thought that the Kung Fu Panda/Lego double pack was XBox only. I’ve never seen it for PS3 so didn’t factor that into my price comparison.
There isn’t a PS3 double pack. The PS3 version is however massively inferior to the xbox one that I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing, even if you don’t have an xbox or a pc.
The new Lego Indy game would represent far greater value for money.
