The Second LEGO LOTR Dev Diary Makes Us Weep With Delight

There's something about the Lord of the Rings score, one of the finest in recent memory that just proves to be effortlessly stirring, moving, triumphant, fragile, and utterly captivating, often all at once. It also makes us want to pre-order Traveller's Tales' latest game.

This second dev diary talks about making some of the dark moments in the series a little lighter through the edium of LEGO, and the trademark whimsy and humour that all of the video games to date have possessed. It covers the 84 playable characters that included heroes, hobbits, dwarves, and even orcs. You'll have unique inventories, huge player freedom, and you'll be able to throw Gimli around like a baseball.
