Trickstar and 505 Games are busy beavering away on the recently announced Ashes Cricket 2013, which will feature full licences of both the England Australian national teams (apparently there's further licencing news yet to be announced) at hit shelves on June 21st for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
However, they've also launched a competition that could see you and your local amateur cricket team featured in the game, with full player likenesses of you and your mates.
Here's the lowdown:
- Photos of the winning team and their home ground will be used by the developers to build the teams and home ground into the video game
- Their team (along with their likenesses) will be a selectable team in the game, so you can choose to play them against any other team
- You can find more details about the comp here.
- The UK and Australian clubs with the most votes by 23:59 (GMT) on 19th February 2013 win the competition and their place in the Official Ashes Cricket 2013Video game

It's basically your usual Facebook-fuelled voting frenzy: if friends, family and fellow club members want to show their support and vote, all they need to do is visit the page, find the entry and click the vote button. You can share the entry to other pages and spam the walls of your chums to help drum up some support too.
If any Dealspwn readers do decide to enter this, do let us know and perhaps we can help rally the troops.
