So PC then
I suspect that this E3 will be remembered as "the year everyone pretended to have played Grim Fandango before."
Regardless of whether or not you actually did, you're in for a treat Double Fine's hilarious noir point & click adventure is headed to PS4 and Vita courtesy of a partnership with Sony. This new version will be a prettied-up remake, not some DOSbox port job, while we hope that the horrible movement controls have been improved. Not all our memories are rose-tinted.
For your information, Matt's spent several minutes running around the office naked from the waist up, desperately trying to hug all and sundry after hearing the news during Sony's presser. It was disturbing, but understandable, since he's been crying out for this for years. Fifteen, to be exact.
Don't despair if you don't own a PS4, however, because Tim Schafer also confirmed that it's coming to "other platforms." We assume that it will release on PC, then, though whether it's day-and-date remains to be seen.
Either way, we're up for this.
