Most Wiis are tender little things, showcasing the likes of Wii Fit, Cooking Mama and, if it's feeling particularly edgy, a little bit of boxing on Wii Sports. If you're looking for something a bit more risqué or exciting then your chances are limited but you'll certainly find what you're after in MadWorld. It's gruesome and gritty and its stark black and white visuals don't just serve to give you a headache, they really accentuate the sudden splatters and floods of blood red. The vicious combat is very satisfying: both creative and intense and enhanced by the obscene and frequently hilarious (if a little repetitive) commentary. It's a shame to see the likes of MadWorld so often consigned to the bargain bins of the retail world; the Wii is just crying for more inventive and grown up titles of this ilk.
