We're big, big Mass Effect fans here at Dealspwn, and the third entry in the galactic saga is high on our 2012 list. It's going to be good; we don't need convincing - although that Kinect support might. However, Bioware seem to think a lot of you do, as they appear to be working on a bite-sized chunk of the game to be released in the foreseeable future.
"Stay tuned for news on demo plans in a few months!" declares Bioware's executive producer Casey Hudson via his official Twitter feed. Quite why Bioware has opted for a demo is unclear; neither Mass Effect 1 or 2 received pre-release demos. But, as I mentioned earlier, the juries still out on the newfangled Kinect support. The voice-commands system - in which you deliver vocal cues to instruct your teammates - feels shoehorned in, as the likes of Ubisoft's EndWar achieved the same goal using only the Microsoft-branded mic. Kinect can do much more than this.
We'll have more for you on the Mass Effect 3 demo as and when it develops. Until then, get talking about Bioware's climactic conclusion to their space-opera trilogy! [Twitter]
