Mass Effect 3 'From Dust' Launch DLC Outed

Collector's Edition DLC? Or Something More?

Mass Effect 3 will be receiving a mysterious day-one DLC pack entitled "From Dust." Gamestop have been selling codes in-store, and it will set us back $9.99 (£7.99/800 MSP) according to a receipt procured by Joystiq. It's likely that this is the official name for the DLC that will ship with Mass Effect 3's increasingly-rare Collector's Edition - slated to bolt on an extra mission and squad member - but we'll keep an eye on things.

We're assuming that this doesn't have anything to do with Eric Chahi's downloadable god game, but stranger things have happened...

Well Mass Effect 3 is evermore moving from a preorder must for me to a 'will I even bother' title. It seems like it'll be penalising your chances without playing the facebook (Not interested)/Iphone(Don't have - heard of Android EA?) apps + buying the DLC. It also has a coop mode I won't play - I didn't touch BF3's coop. With all this I'm really beginning to lose interest. I'm currently at the 'waiting for a large price drop then purchase' stage but I'm still very worried about how much EA will mess it up....

The sad this was it was going to be a must buy preorder (like ME2 was for me) - Not now.
