Memory Remix Demonstrated In Remember Me Gameplay Video

Along with the announcement trailer that was posted earlier today, Capcom have released a gameplay video of the Memory Remix segments from DONTNOD’s upcoming title Remember Me. Along with demonstrating the open world portion of the game, along with some acrobatic climbing around Neo Paris, we get to see main character Nilin use her ability to alter memories to assassinate a target. We have the video, and a few screenshots, after the jump.

Looks pretty, the premise is great, and tbh if you're mixing Deus Ex, Assassin's Creed, and Total Recall into a game (as this seems to be doing) then you should be onto a dead cert winner.

And yet I find myself worried that the memory remix sequences will get very tiresome. Seems to me there's a good chance the first few will be relatively obvious before it then starts making it much more random - and you'll just get bored/frustrated picking out the right combination of elements to change. (And that's without pulling at the "morality" thread to see what controversy a game like this could garner.)

Hope I'm wrong.
