Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Dated In Japan

How long will you have to wait for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection? Not long; if you live in Japan, that is. Solid Snake's return to high definition is set to hit Japanese shelves on November the 23rd, where it will cost 5480 Yen. American or European release dates have yet to be announced, but I imagine we can all expect an early 2012 or even late December launch to coincide with the Christmas rush.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection packs the first, second and third games all re-skinned with delicious high-definition textures and the like, along with a similarly HD-fied version of PSP classic, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which will feature four player co-op. If you've never played a Metal Gear game in your life, well; for shame. Buy it. Enjoy it. And weep with joy. [Eurogamer]

Hurt me MOAR, Snake!

Sorry, I mean that the November release date is a retailer projection as opposed to a confirmed launch window. We reckon the date will be finalised very soon.

I feel I should point out that it doesn't include the first Metal Gear Solid, just 2 (Sons of Liberty), 3 (Snake Eater) and Peace Walker.
