Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Gets Vita Release Window

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will release on PS Vita in "late June," according to the latest update from publisher Konami. The press release also specifies "the end of June," which suggests that the anticipated bundle will launch on either the 22nd or the 29th (both of which are Fridays).

Remember that the Vita MGS HD Collection won't include Peace Walker, which is available to buy seperately on the PlayStation Store for £15.99. Console owners will likely want to purchase the better-value PS3 or Xbox 360 version, but we're looking forward to playing MGS 2, Snake Eater and the MSX games on the go. Brendan gave the collection a whopping 9/10 in our full review, suggesting that it "should be on everyone’s shopping list."

Is Peace Walker on the PSN the HD version? or the old PSP version?

What?! MGS is not on it's last legs?! MGS is epic and has a huge fan base. MGS4 was one of the best games ever made. They are pushing forward with MGS Rising which is a step in a new direction and there has been talk from Kojima that MGS5 will happen...

I am gutted MGS1 is not redone in HD, but will pick this up when it gets a bit cheaper so I can play through 3 as I missed that one totally.
