Microsoft Announces Kinectimals Partnership With Build-A-Bear Workshop

In case you haven't heard the news, virtual safari/pet-sim Kinectimals now comes with added bears. To mark this, Microsoft has entered into what might just be the cutest arrangement ever with the Build-A-Bear Workshop.

From October 14th, gamers and bear aficionados will be able to purchase any of four specially made furry friends that will be compatible with Kinectimals Now With Bears.

Once you've purchased one of the four bears, you'll be able to scan the tag with the Kinect camera to unlock matching bear cubs in the game. The bears will cost £15 each.

On top of that, interested parties can enter the Build-A-Bear Workshop Kinect for Xbox 360 competition.  Ten lucky winners will receive a Kinect for Xbox 360 prize pack that includes an Xbox 360 4GB console, a Kinect sensor, Kinectimals Now with Bears and a £100 gift card to be spent in any Build-A-Bear Workshop. All you have to do is wander into one of the retail outlets or visit http://buildabear.co.uk after October 14th.
