It appears Activision is bringing their upcoming mega-hit Modern Warfare 3 to Nintendo's portable gaming machine. But it's not the 3DS. No, it appears the recently outed Modern Warfare 3: Defiance is set to hit the bog-standard DS, which is sure to come as a blow to Nintendo's stance with the 3DS, which has drawn the ire of the videogame community for its lack of strong third-party software.
Outed on the Australian Classification Board, Modern Warfare 3: Defiance was then confirmed by Activision to MCV, who revealed n-Space would helm the title, having already worked on Modern Warfare 1 & 2, World at War and Black Ops ports on the DS. It's been rated M - for Mature, don't you know - and is set to launch alongside its console brethren in November.
What do you think, Dealspwners? Is Activision shunning the 3DS because it sees no point in launching Modern Warfare 3 on Nintendo's new platform? Or is it simply a case of the original DS having a much larger audience to profit from? [MCV]
