Twenty Elite DLC Drops Incoming

Activision has announced that Modern Warfare 3 will receive twenty bite-sized pieces of DLC over the next nine months, provided separately for Elite subscribers or bundled into traditional content packs starting from January 24th. Paid Call Of Duty Elite members will receive the content free as it comes, and Xbox 360 players will receive it first due to a timed exclusivity deal with Microsoft. Activision's Eric Hirshberg promises to deliver "more new content, more often, and with more variety than ever," and it seems that they've definitely got the first two nailed down.

The announcement trailer, linked above, explains everything as well as giving us a look at the two new maps releasing later this month.

Chances of there being any single player content will be slim, at best. *sigh*
