All aboard the Ouya train! On the last day of the Ouya Android console Kickstarter, Namco Bandai confirms that they're planning on bringing some of their "biggest gaming properties" to the platform.
"NAMCO BANDAI Games and OUYA are currently in active discussions to bring some of the world's biggest gaming properties to the exciting new open gaming platform," Namco Marketing VP Carlson Choi told backers in the latest email update. "NAMCO BANDAI brings with it a rich history of iconic gaming franchises, from classics like PAC-MAN and GALAGA, to seminal franchises like TEKKEN and Ridge Racer, and we're excited to explore how we can work with OUYA to bring some great titles to the forthcoming console."
They're remaining tight-lipped on the exact games in question, but Namco has invited gamers to cast their opinions via Facebook. Namco Bandai joins Square Enix in pledging to support the Ouya, while XBMC media functionality was announced yesterday.
