As you should be able to tell from the picture, you'll be screeching away from the fuzz at high speed to avoid being sent to the slammer. This one'll last you a while because it poses a pretty good challenge at times, and the only modes aren't bad either. Sadly, it can be a bit infuriating if you're endeavouring to get as many gold awards as possible and sometimes lacks the fun of other racing games. The merchants listed above are parting with PC copies of the game for £9.98, which is just over £2 cheaper than the next best offer coming in from Play.
Owners of the Wii looking for a bit of high speed racing action might be interested in this one, especially for a fiver. The Wii version of Hot Pursuit has been reduced by The Hut, bagging you a saving of £2 over the next cheapest retailer over at Zavvi. That said, it’s not the greatest racer in the world. With development being handled by Exient and not Criterion, it has more in common with Need For Speed Nitro than it does with Hot Pursuit on the other consoles, and suffers for it. That said, for a game on the Ninty console it doesn’t look too bad graphically, and if you don’t own one of the other behemoth consoles or just fancy some random arcade driving action, this is the best price for it.
