Cheating Leads To Sonic 4's Leaderboards Being Reset
Hello Dealspwn readers, today is an exciting day, for this is my very first news post, although it's just my luck that things have been a little bit slow on the news front!
Don't you just hate it when a few people spoil things for everyone else? Well, that's probably one of the nicer thoughts that's run through your mind if you're somebody who's spent hours striving for a top score in Sonic 4, only to have to slave away at it once again thanks to those people out there who are still happy to hack into a game and assign themselves a ridiculously quick completion time that would have left even our spiky blue friend with sweat pouring off his brow.
On the plus side, it does mean that loyal Sonic fans have got a chance of honestly making their way to the top of the reset leaderboards, but seeing as this is just a reset from Sega it's probably only a matter of time before somebody hacks in again to steal a bit of glory. [Joystiq]
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Gets Patched Up
For PC users out there, who've noticed that Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit occasionally handles more like a banged up Reliant Robin than a smooth ride in an Aston Martin (or a Pagani Zonda as featured in the picture above), a patch has been released to fix some of the game's problems, such as trouble with multi-core CPU's, rain and snow glitches, and random crashes. A New Dragon Age 2 Character Steps Out Of The Shadows
Aveline Vallen has been revealed as a main character in Bioware's sequel coming out in March, and from the looks of it she knows how to kick some ass! If you want to know a bit more about this feisty, sword wielding minx, then why not head over to the official site where you'll also be able to get the low down on some of the other characters. And finally, in an unrelated story that made me laugh at just how minor the name change is, Shogun 2: Total War will now be released as Total War: Shogun 2. See I told you it's been a slow day! [VG 247]
