Nidhogg launched yesterday, save almost £5 on The Humble Store

Nidhogg | The Humble Store | £7.32 (save £4.67)

Nidhogg is a breath of fresh air: an epic fencing game wherein two opponents leap, stab and riposte around some tricksy environments. Local multiplayer is where it's at, though, a properly mental and thoroughly silly affair. It released yesterday with a 20% discount on Steam (£9.59), but The Humble Store will save you even more.

Looking at that screens hot just reminds me of Joust on the old Atari 2600. Great simple multilayer action

Yeah, no need for Atari level graphics and a £10+ price tag these days.

Simple graphics are fine (Super Meat Boy), but that looks just awful.

If you are going to present your game like it should only cost £1 then it should only cost £1.

Also, "Nidhogg Game" is an anagram of "Gonad Egg Him", so any other arguments are invalid.

The developer's a bit of a con-artist though. Got $5000 through Kickstarter, and didn't bother making the game, apparently.

Yeah, did nearly choke on my space raiders when I seen the original price. 'fraid there's plenty of other games in that price range getting my attention so for that reason, I'm out! :-)
