Our Nintendo E3 2014 predictions

We'll embed the feed here once it appears, but in the meantime here's the Reggie Fils-A-Mech to get you warmed up...

It ought to be so very easy for Nintendo this year. Microsoft kicked things off well and Sony, for all of their needless waffling, had some cracking announcements too. But Nintendo have beloved IPs in spades. They've shied away from using them particularly well the last couple of years, but we fully expect at least one announcement (probably Zelda) to try and capitalise on the positive momentum that Mario Kart 8 has generated. After being much maligned for eighteen months, is it finally time for the Wii U to come out swinging?

Dear god we hope so!

We've embedded our Twitter feed below where we'll be liveblogging with immediate reactions once the presentation starts. Tweet in to @Dealspwn to get involved with the conversation and we'll feature some of the best reactions in our roundup!

I don't believe it! Nintendo are going to win E3!!

That Zelda world looks simply stunning. I'm being bombarded with stunning-looking Ninty games :)

**Edit**

Yep, smashed it for me. Short and very sweet, if a little light on gameplay for the big hitters and with a very odd ending.

Some cool games, not a lot though imo, far too short. Splatoon looked good, new Zelda looked gorgeous, Yoshi's Wooly World was cute, Mario Maker was pretty cool.

Devil's Third being exclusive is the worst news I've heard all day. I've been looking forward to it for a while, just because it's Itagaki, but I still have very little interest in buying a Wii U so I just won't get to play it. Plus I think it's just a bad decision in general seeing as it will no doubt be a niche, hardcore game with a limited player base, which is now only coming out on the worst selling of the new consoles, with the least hardcore gamers. Total waste imo.
